2 to 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (systems administration, operations / devops in a cloud environment)
Prior experience operating workloads in Production environments using AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, Route53, Fargate, DynamodDB, DocumentDB, RDS, EBS etc.)
Experience with SDLC methodologies (preferably Agile software development methodology).
Understanding on Scripting languages like Bash or Python.
Application build pipeline tools such as Jenkins
Exposure to managing AWS services / operational knowledge of managing applications in AWS
Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible
Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux/Unix Administration
Working with monitoring, and logging tools
Good understanding of Containerization concepts - docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes
Experience managing 3 tier application stacks
Experience with build tools such as Jenkins
Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision is must.
Experience with centralized logging and monitoring of distributed systems; open tracing and APM knowledge a plus
Demonstrated creative problem solving and analytical skill

Project/Work Details:

Responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning
Analyse existing, create and maintain Service Level Objectives.
Define, improve, and engage in adapting architectural application bottlenecks
Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions
Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve
Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large, distributed software applications
