InfoStretch Volunteers at Habitat for Humanity
Corporate Social Responsibility is a championed cause here at InfoStretch Corporation. Throughout the year, InfoStretch employees donate their time and efforts to construct change in their local community. In this instance, the InfoStretch employees literally constructed change by volunteering through the Habitat for Humanity Corporate Volunteer Program. Not only the new homeowners, but also the entire community will feel the impact of this volunteer experience. As each small, individual part of the community is uplifted, cities and counties will positively benefit overall. Through this effort, InfoStretch Corporation was able to serve families, communities and selflessly improve the lives of others.
Close to twenty InfoStretch employees spent two days demolishing two bedrooms and one bath structure, and then rebuilding a new structure as part of a joint effort to rebuild the entire house. The volunteers strengthened their team spirit and morale working together to build a home for a family in need. InfoStretch employee, Girish Kagrana said, “This experience has been both challenging and rewarding. We feel honored to have been part of a process to make a difference in our community.” He added, “We would love to do it again!” This statement seems to illustrate that general consensus felt by the volunteers
Volunteers will do ninety percent of the total labor for this project and their joint efforts will culminate in an entire remodel will take about six months to complete. Giving back to the community and uplifting those that are less fortunate are core values of InfoStretch Corporation. We are thankful for the opportunity to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, and look forward to next time!
