Quarter in Review
This was indeed a hot and happening quarter for us with new awards, recognitions, new innovation, new partnerships, new hiring and of course new energy. In this note, I am taking the opportunity to reflect on the achievements that we accomplished as a team in this quarter.
Award Winning Efforts
Apexon was recognized as the “Fast 50 Asian American Businesses” for 2013 by US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce. This recognition is a great endorsement for us. Apexon also participated in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, earlier this quarter, and was named the semifinalist in the Northern California region. Being selected as the semifinalist is a testament to everyone’s hard work and belief in Apexon’s mission.
New Partnerships
Apexon’s biggest partnership of the quarter was with Kony Solutions to provide custom mobile development and testing solutions on the Kony MEAP. This new partnership is going to help Apexon design, deploy and manage enterprise grade apps for its customers using Kony’s expertise.
Innovation
We’re prepping to become a mobile application lifecycle company, working with customers across all aspects of the lifecycle — from design and development to testing and sustenance support. We would be working with our partner ecosystem to leverage their technology capabilities. And, we at our labs are innovating new tools to support different stages of this lifecycle. We are looking forward to launch this mobile application lifecycle toolkit, next quarter. We’ll also be expanding on our benchmarking capabilities, providing you with even more insight into our unique innovation.
New Hiring and New Energy
This quarter was full of action and fun. We hired talent from all parts of the world. These new employees bring fresh perspective and depth of knowledge in their areas of expertise. I look forward to working with them as we continue to make Apexon a center for excellence in providing the very best mobile and enterprise QA services and solutions.
Fun Times
We also had our annual company picnic last week. A fun-filled day that gave us a chance to sit back, relax, enjoy good food and meet all our co-workers and their families. The grill and the games were a huge hit. Tug-of-War, three legged race and the joy of water in the water sports were the most cherished moments — by the young and the old. Some Apexon Associate got some fancy gifts in the raffle including Galaxy tabs, FitBits and some other cool gadgets.
