T-Mobile Website Testing and Certification FAQ
1. How is the certification process accomplished?
T-Mobile has defined requirements and best practices for mobile application and website certification compliance. InfoStretch will use the T-Mobile requirements and best practices to test mobile applications and websites.
2. How much does it cost for Certification?
Your membership with the T-Mobile Development network guarantees the best pricing from InfoStretch. Pricing is based on each distinct submission. For more information, please contact InfoStretch.
3. How much does it cost for Re-Certification?
Your membership with T-Mobile Development network guarantees the best pricing from InfoStretch. Pricing is based on each distinct submission. For more information, please contact InfoStretch.
4. How many days will it take for InfoStretch to certify the website after submission?
Mobile application and website certification testing takes approximately 3 to 10 business days after submission and will depend on the complexity of the mobile application or website being tested.
5. How may I contact the InfoStretch team?

6. How is the payment made for certification charges?
The payment for mobile application and website certification testing is made to InfoStretch using a Company Purchase Order, Credit Card or Paypal account. For more information, please contact tmobile_info@infostretch.com.
7. How do I submit a website for re-certification?
You must submit the mobile application or website for re-certification using the same process for an initial certification testing request using the T-Mobile Partner Network website.
8. When do I need to submit for re-certification?
It is required that you submit the mobile application or website for re-certification when there are material modifications to features or functionality of a certified mobile application or website. At least 30 days prior to making material modifications, a description of the material modifications (not including changes to content available on the mobile application or website) must be submitted to T-Mobile through the mobile application and website submission form on the T-Mobile Partner Network website.
Also, you may submit the mobile application or website for re-certification if the mobile web site failed the initial certification process or if the status of certification is “Expired.”
9. How do I retrieve certification results from the T-Mobile Partner Network?
Log in to the T-Mobile Partner Network website and use your company administrator user ID to retrieve the available results of past mobile application and website certification requests. If you need additional information, please contact tmobile_info@infostretch.com.
10. Should all testcases pass during the certification testing process?
Yes.
11. Do I receive a refund if my Certification Request results in failure?
No. The Certification fees are non-refundable, however, InfoStretch will make every attempt to help you develop your application or website to meet certification standards.
12. Can I submit more than one website as part of the same certification request?
No. Only one mobile application or website may be submitted for each certification testing submission.
13. Can I transfer the Certificate of one website to another one?
No. The mobile application or website certification is specific to the mobile application or website that was tested during that certification process and it cannot be transferred.
14. We just acquired the company that owned a certified website. Do we need to re-Certify?
You must contact T-Mobile at partnerteam@t-mobile.com to confirm T-Mobile’s consent to assignment of the agreement governing the mobile website.
15. Which handsets will InfoStretch use during certification?
Mobile applications and websites must work on all of the currently available handsets that support mobile applications and websites on the T-Mobile USA network.
16. Does InfoStretch provide details of the Test Plan used for Certification?
No. T-Mobile requirements for mobile applications and websites are described in the T-Mobile Partner Network Mobile Web Handbook available on the T-Mobile Partner Network web site.
17. Does InfoStretch provide details of Testcases used during Certification?
Yes, after your request for certification is accepted, an InfoStretch representative will give you access to details of testcases used for certification.
18. What do the different mobile web site testing statuses shown in the T-Mobile Partner Network web site mean related to the certification testing process?
The T-Mobile Partner Network website has seven different application and website testing statuses as defined below:
 
Draft: The mobile web site details have not been submitted for certification testing.
Acknowledged: The mobile web site has been submitted for certification testing.
In Testing: The certification contractor (InfoStretch) has begun the certification testing process.
On-Hold:The certification contractor (InfoStretch) needs additional information.
Passed: The mobile web site meets all the required criteria for certification.
Failed: The mobile web site does not meet the required criteria for certification. A detailed report with defects will be provided.
Expired: A certified mobile web site is found to no longer be in compliance with T-Mobile’s requirements.
