Why do we need a test management tool? Because test management is a highly complex process to ensure what was specified is delivered. There are a lot of processes which need to be managed efficiently; otherwise it could lead to delayed projects and buggy releases. Some of the processes like managing and executing test cases, providing quality dashboards and reports, performing effective defect tracking etc. require the need to have a an efficient test management tool.
